Sales of existing, single-family homes in September jumped to $659,000 which is a 7% gain since this time last year. Inventory has dipped 15% compared to this time last year. What makes this interesting is usually in the fall we would see an increase in inventory. With interest rates staying below 4% this last quarter maybe a great time to purchase a home with less competition. The market has slowed down and we are seeing more and more price reductions.
